Challenge: Plural, a production company from Portugal, needed to produce 4 episodes of the prime time telenovela for TVI in various and challenging locations. The plot portrayed a gypsy girl escaping from the border, who suddenly meets a cute biker in the middle of a paradisiac mountain and both arrive at the most iconic Mexico city landmark chasing for adventure and love. So we put together a hybrid crew from both countries and shot in Baja California and CDMX. After a hurricane that locked us down for a week and multiple challenges, the result was a very successful telenovela. But most of all, a new group of bilingual friends who lived a once in a lifetime experience in a Mexican paradise.
